For your convenience, you may purchase tickets online through The State
Theatre's customized CHOICE ticketing system. Our online system allows you to
move swiftly from film or concert description to seat selection. By providing a
view to the stage and movie screen from every seat in the house, CHOICE gives
you the opportunity to sit exactly where you want within minutes, via computer,
iphone or cellphone. As we often tell visitors touring The State for the first
time, there is no bad seat in the house! If you experience any difficulties when
purchasing your tickets online, please call the box office at 209-527-4697 so we
may assist you.
Not sure if a concert or event is sold out? Please call the box
office. Our staff will be happy to double-check on seat availability for you.
If you purchased your tickets online too late for them to be mailed to your home or business address, just
bring your printed receipt or confirmation number to the box office, along with
a valid driver's license or ID, and we can issue your tickets at the window. If you are not able to purchase tickets online, just call the box office. We can
charge your tickets to your Mastercard or Visa and will hold them for you in
Will Call for pick up one hour before doors open (concerts) or when the box
office opens half an hour before the start of films.
Please note that ticket purchases for concerts and special events are subject to a $4 fee. This fee, a standard industry practice, is used, in the case of the non-profit State, to continue upgrading, renovating and maintaining this historic venue.
