Special-needs Patrons
The State has several battery-operated hearing devices for use by our
hearing-impaired patrons. These devices are available during films at no charge.
Please ask at the box office when you purchase your movie tickets and our staff
will assist you.
The State Theatre, in compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act,
provides easily-accessible seating for our patrons in wheelchairs or walkers or
who may face challenges in any way with our traditional theater seating. We
strive to accommodate our patrons by providing special seating arrangements, a
wheelchair lift to and from the stage, handrails leading to and from the
auditorium, and clean, well-lighted wheelchair-accessible restrooms. If you are
unsure of the suitability of The State's accommodations, please call and we will
discuss your needs to determine how we may best serve you.
